Just after midnight Saturday, a male suspect entered the Macklin Hotel and Bar armed with a long gun and demanded money.

The bar employee was able to get away and lock herself in a back room. Police say the suspect didn’t get any money and it’s unclear if the suspect fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The male is described as 5 foot 8, slim build, wearing black clothing with a mask covering his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
