Yorkton RCMP are asking home owners in Yorkton and surrounding area to check their properties, particularly outbuildings, for any signs of a missing 71-year-old man, Alec Zwozdesky (pictured).
Any clothing and other items that seem out of place would be of interest to investigators in order to find Zwozdesky. He was last seen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday on Victoria Avenue in Yorkton. He was reported missing on Wednesday, with a Saskatchewan RCMP news release saying that Zwozdesky didn’t have medicine that he requires with him. He is described as being about 5’9″ tall, weighing 150 pounds with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey vest, blue jeans, black shoes and a grey ball cap. Any sightings of Zwozdesky or any information as to his whereabouts should be reported to 310-RCMP or anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
