An inmate from a Yorkton correctional centre has gone missing after he was authorized to leave the site temporarily.

Yesterday at 6:00pm, RCMP received a report that 55-year-old Michael Mckie had failed to return to the centre.

He is described as 5’11 tall and 190 pounds with eyes, and brown and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black hat. He has a tattoo of Bob Marley’s face on his left arm.

Officers say he may be travelling to or in the Regina area.

If you see Michael Mckie, do not approach him. Instead, contact Yorkton RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
