A 21-year-old North Battleford man—charged with two counts of attempted murder—made his first court appearance on Monday morning.

Adrian Dreaver was arrested in connection with a shooting at a residence on the 1400 block of 109th Street in North Battleford,  just after four o’clock last Wednesday afternoon.

Two men had gunshot wounds and were transported to hospital with injuries described as “serious in nature.”

RCMP officers arrested two men and a woman near the scene. Two of the three were later released without being charged.

In addition to the attempted murder counts, Dreaver is charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition while prohibited.
