Tonight (Thurs), the Saskatoon Public Library is hosting the first of ten civic election forums, with one for each Ward. The forum for Ward 7 is tonight (Wed) at Cliff Wright Library, followed by Ward 9 Thursday night at 7 at the Alice Turner branch.
A news release from the SPL says the events are forums, not debates, and they will provide residents the chance to hear the views of each candidate. For the two Wards that are acclaimed,, Ward 10 with Zach Jefferies and Bev Dubois in Ward 9, they will be more of a town hall style event to meet with and answer residents’ questions. This weekend, there will be a forum Saturday afternoon at 2 for Ward 6, to be held at the Frances Morrison Central Library downtown.
The Saskatoon Public Library is hosting these forums in partnership with the Social Action Council of Saskatoon Unitarians.
