Battleford RCMP responded to an ATV rollover Saturday around 12 pm on Highway 4 north of the Mosquito, Grizzly Bear’s Head, Lean Man First Nation. When emergency crews arrived, an injured teenaged boy, the driver of the ATV was found injured. He was transported to the hospital, but he later died. His family on the nearby First Nation was notified. There were two other teenage boys on the ATV and both received minor injuries. The Battlefords RCMP investigation continues, with assistance from the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
