Esterhazy RCMP estimate Range Road 1322 near the Village of Gerald will remain closed until tonight (Fri) at the earliest, to facilitate the ongoing investigation and clean up after a fatal train and tractor collision on Wednesday. Gerald is about 20 kilometres east of Esterhazy. Officers first responded to the accident Wednesday afternoon. The Esterhazy man driving the tractor, who was the only occupant, died from his injuries. Several train cars derailed, but no spills were reported other than dried/material goods
