The Saskatoon Police Service’s Serious Assault Unit is continuing to investigate an early Sunday morning incident in which there was an altercation that involved weapons with one person being injured as a result.
An S-P-S news release said officers received a weapons call at about Midnight on October 27. Initial information in the call said there was an altercation in a field in the 200 block of Avenue M North. Shortly after arrival and checking the area, police found an injured man in the 300 block of Avenue P North. He was transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect had fled before officers arrived on the scene.
