Two people have been arrested from a stabbing and bear spray incident early Saturday night. The Saskatoon Police Service says officer responded to the 300 block of Avenue R South around 7:30 after a report came in about a stabbing and bear spray being discharged. When officers arrived, they found a group of people in a front yard suffering from the effects of bear spray.
An 18-year-old man identified as the bear spray suspect and an 18-year-old woman identified as the stabbing suspect were arrested without incident. The stabbing victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The man is facing three assault-related charges and the woman is facing one.
