A suspect on the run helped Lloydminster RCMP to an even bigger payday. Last Friday, officers located a stolen vehicle in a parking lot. A male was seen entering the vehicle and police tried to make an arrest but he ran into an apartment building. Officers followed him in and ended up arresting their suspect and four other people. They also allegedly recovered three stolen firearms, electronics, and a small amount of narcotics. Four people are facing weapon and drug possession charges. One is also charged with resisting arrest. All were released and are scheduled to appear in Alberta Provincial Court on February 11th.
