In early October, a fundraiser was held for the Schizophrenia Society of Saskatchewan called Singing with the Stars. Through a combination of donations and bids on a silent art auction, Singing with the Stars was able to raise $143,500. This morning, a cheque was presented to the Schizophrenia Society, which provides programs, peer support, and resources for those affected by schizophrenia and psychosis. Two of the stars from this event were CJWW’s sportscaster and voice of the Blades, Les Lazaruk and morning guy with 98 Cool, Gregger.
