Royal University Hospital remains the main trauma care facility in Saskatchewan.
The RUH Foundation wants to make sure the facility has the best possible equipment for emergency responses.
The Ready When You Aren’t Radiothon for life-saving care goes tomorrow (Thurs) and Friday on CJWW, 92.9 THE BULL and 98-COOL.
RUH Foundation C-E-O Arla Gustafson says her parents and son have benefited from the professional and compassionate care received at the facility and the broadcast will feature the life-saving stories of others.
Emergency department physicians, nurses, surgeons and other trauma team members will explain the importance of having the best equipment and training available.
Royal University Hospital has been treating the province’s most severely injured and ill patients for the past 65 years and officials say you never know when or who will need it.
The donation line is 1-833-655-4483 (GIVE), or donate on line at ruhf.org. All money raised by the radiothon will be matched by the Estate of Bob Steane.
The event runs from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday and from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
