Saskatchewan RCMP are advising drivers to prepare for winter road conditions after they responded to two weather-related incidents last night.
Yesterday evening, officers received one report of a weather-related collision and one semi who could not get up a hill due to the road conditions, which blocked traffic.
Both incidents happened in the Moose Jaw area, and no injuries were reported to police.
Drivers are encouraged to take additional precautions when driving on ice or snow-covered roads. Officers say slowing down, gently accelerating and braking, making smooth movements, and leaving extra space between yourself and other vehicles will ensure you and those you share the road with make it to their destination safely.
