A man has been charged by Saskatoon Police after a domestic dispute involving a hammer and bear spray. Officers responded to a weapons-related call in the 500 block of Avenue X South Wednesday night around 8 o’clock and learned there had been a domestic dispute inside a home. Officers report that a man hit a woman with a hammer and then discharged bear spray in her direction before taking off. He was found a short distance away and arrested without incident. The 26-year-old is charged with assault with a weapon.
