If you are in the 22nd Street and Avenue X area in Saskatoon, an upgraded pedestrian crossing has been installed.
The City of Saskatoon says the installation includes a pedestrian-activated signal along with new pavement markings and signage, improving visibility for both drivers and pedestrians.
It was funded by a grant from SGI’s Provincial Traffic Safety Fund. Drivers are reminded to stop for the red signal at the newly enhanced crossing.
