SaskPower has approved the second intake of customer projects that will generate power to sell to the company as part of the Power Generation Partner Program. In total, 23 projects have been given the green light. 11 are renewable solar power projects and 12 are carbon neutral, non-renewable, flare gas projects. It’s expected they will be able to add up to 34 Megawatts to the grid. One of the benefits from this program is that it helps oilfield customers reduce their carbon footprint.
