Police are investigating after bear spray was discharged inside Midtown Plaza yesterday.
Around 7:30 p.m. Thursday police were called to a mall in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South for a report of bear spray being discharged inside a store.
Police investigation indicates a group of several males were inside the mall when two of them momentarily entered a store and discharged a can of bear spray before fleeing the area.
The Saskatoon Fire Department helped with assessing multiple people experiencing the effects of bear spray.
No suspects have been arrested; however, police are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information believed to be relevant is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Stoppers.
