Saskatoon Police say a male was punched and slashed with a weapon just before nine last night (thurs) on the 16 hundred block of 19th Street West. The victim was approached by a group of three males and one female who tried to get him into an alley. He received the injuries, which were not life-threatening when he resisted. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
