Following two hours of negotiations with RCMP, a Yorkton man has been arrested and is now facing 39 charges.
RCMP say prior to his arrest, 24-year-old Clayton Fenwick was wanted on multiple warrants from three separate police agencies: Yorkton, Moose Jaw, and Saskatoon. His charges included failing to stop for police, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, driving while prohibited, breach of release order, and fail to comply with a release order and mischief.
Last Friday, RCMP learned Fenwick was at a home on 11th Street in Humboldt. They surrounded the house, and Fenwick eventually came out of the house. he was arrested without incident. A woman was also arrested, but she was released without charges.
Officers seized five firearms and ammunition from inside the house. A vehicle reported stolen near Lake Lenore on October 10 was also recovered at the property.
Fenwick appeared in court on Monday.
