The Saskatoon Police Service say they’ve made an arrest in a break and enter that resulted in the theft of a flat deck trailer.
The call to the B&E came in around 3:50 a.m. on Thursday from the 3700 block of Kochur Avenue. After taking a report from the victim the Saskatoon Police Service says officers observed what they believed to be the stolen trailer in a parking lot a short distance away. In the same parking lot was an idling truck with a man asleep inside. In a news release police say their investigation, and evidence collected in the parking lot, linked the truck to what was confirmed to be the stolen trailer.
A 36-year-old Martensville man has been charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
