As of today, you can download the new waste collection calendar in Saskatoon.

Starting this month collection of your green carts will shift to monthly service for the winter which includes December, January, February, and March.

The City of Saskatoon says after year-one of the mandatory organics program data indicates fewer carts set out in winter due to less seasonal yard waste.

As well the City had received feedback from residents requesting fewer pick up days in the winter.

The City of Saskatoon says the savings from switching to once a month pick up will be reflected in the green cart utility rates starting not next year, but in 2026.
