According to a tweet, the Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit impounded eight vehicles Friday night and suspended the licenses of those drivers at a checkstop on Circle Drive.

In the tweet, the unit said almost all of the few hundred drivers checked were safe to drive, although eight people had their licenses suspended, one for 60 days along with their vehicles impounded.
