Saskatoon City Council received an information report at their regular meeting last week in regards to the year it was in 2019 at the Marr Residence.
Those on the management board say the School Tour program continues to be popular and that it gives them the opportunity to teach youth about the history of the residence.
In 2019, the Marr Residence welcomed four classes from three schools totaling 106 students.
The residence also did two tours for the Sask Intercultural Association for a total of 29 guests, one tour for the Open Door Society for a total of 10 guests and two private tours with 11 guests.
The backyard deck was expanded last year which the management board says gives them a very welcoming space.
The board does add that vandalism continues to be a costly problem, although the City is quick to act in dealing with the issues.
