The latest respiratory illness report from the province says there have been no Covid-19 or influenza deaths in the last three weeks.
The report covers December 1st to December 14th. During that time, Covid-19 hospitalizations decreased from 151 in the last reporting period to 107. The majority of people who tested positive for Covid were 65 years of age or older.
Meanwhile, RSV hospital admissions increased from 11 to 42. RSV mainly affected those in the 0-4 age category.
There were 28 positive influenza laboratory tests, up from 11 in the two weeks prior. People between the ages of 20 and 64 were impacted most by influenza.
From March of 2020 through to November 30th this year, 2085 people have died in Saskatchewan with COVID.
