The Saskatchewan Roughriders have released American offensive lineman Trevor Reid to pursue an N-F-L opportunity.
The 24-year-old Georgia native started all 18 regular-season games for the Green and White at left tackle this past season, his first in the C-F-L. He helped the Riders finish second in the West Division at 9-8-1 as part of an offensive line that allowed 35 sacks, which ranked fourth-best league-wide. C-F-L rules stipulate that any player can sign an N-F-L contract during the off-season. The Roughriders will retain Reid’s exclusive C-F-L rights through February of 2026. Reid worked out for several N-F-L teams after the conclusion of the C-F-L season, including Indianapolis, Minnesota and Cincinnati. In addition, Saskatchewan signed American offensive lineman Brandon Kemp. The 6’7″, 310-pounder spent the past three seasons with Hamilton, dressing for 13 games. He made one start this past year at right tackle and finished the season on the practice roster, making him a free agent. Following are the news releases from the Green and White…..
