Four people are facing charges after a Saskatoon Police investigation into fentanyl trafficking. A 19 year old woman and a 41 year old man were arrested last Friday in a gas station parking lot on the 32 hundred block of Preston Avenue South. Police say they witnessed activity consistent with drug trafficking. Police allege a search of the woman turned up baggies of fentanyl and cannabis as well as a cell phone. Police allege the man was carrying methamphetamine, hydromorphone, over one thousand dollars cash, and a cell phone. As a result, search warrants were executed at residences on the 400 block of Hunter Road, 200 block of Kloppenburg Way, 12 hundred block of Wright Crescent, and 400 block of Fairmont Drive. Two men, including a 32 year old who is charged with attempting to flee, were arrested, As a result of the raids, officer confiscated fentanyl, cannabis, psilocybin, cell phones, drug paraphernalia, and 9mm ammunition. The 19 year old woman and the 32 year old man are facing drug and Proceeds of Crime charges. The 41 year old is charged with drug possession. Another man, 31 years old, was also arrested and charged with Possession of Ammunition while prohibited.
