A drug trafficking investigation by the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team (PACRT) has led to three arrests.
On Wednesday at approximately 9:30 p.m. police conducted enforcement action at a business in the hospitality industry in the 3800 block of 2nd Avenue West. A 20-year-old man, 18-year-old man, and 19-year-old woman suspected of trafficking illicit substances were taken into custody.
A search warrant was executed and led to the seizure of $2,350 CAD, 124.9 grams of cocaine, two digital scales, three cell phones, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
The 20-year-old man is now facing charges relating to possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5000. The other two individuals who were arrested were released without charges.
