The Saskatoon Police Service says a Saskatoon man is in custody in the wake of an early morning stabbing.
Around 4:00 a.m. today police were called to an apartment in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West where it had been reported that a male was injured.
A 28-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be several stab wounds was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
A suspect was soon located in the 200 block of Avenue R South and arrested. A 21-year-old man is now facing a charge of aggravated assault.
