After being without one since the end of December, the Saskatchewan United Party has chosen an interim leader to be the temporary face of the party.
Doug Forster represented Sask United in the Yorkton Constituency during the last election.
He says “The next four years will be a crucial time for Sask United. This period will allow us to regroup and further establish ourselves as a true conservative option for the people of Saskatchewan.”
The party’s former leader, Jon Hromek, stepped down from his position and left the party entirely after it neglected to win any seat in the October provincial election. He said the decision was not made lightly.
