A 63-year-old Lloydminster man is facing eight charges following a recent investigation into drug trafficking in the community.
On Thursday, RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in the area of 47th Street in Lloydminster following reports of potential illegal operations occurring there.
While at the home, officers seized 500 grams of suspected cocaine, 500 grams of suspected fentanyl, 1 kilogram of methamphetamine, over $16,000 CAD, a prohibited firearm and unstamped tobacco cigarettes.
Corporal Christopher Byford says “This seizure represents a substantial disruption to the illicit drug trade in our community. The presence of fentanyl in particular, poses a serious risk to public safety, and we remain committed to targeting those who traffic harmful substances.”
Mark Enzenauer was remanded and is expected to appear at the Saskatchewan Court of Justice in North Battleford today.
