The City of Saskatoon has once again been given a AAA credit rating with a stable outlook. It comes from S&P Global Rating Services. The city says, according to S&P, the city maintains exceptional levels of liquidity, and as a result, the city’s debt burden is expected to remain around current low levels of just under 40 per cent of consolidated revenues. According to the city, the report also says that Saskatoon’s strong economy has supported budgetary balances leading to large operating surpluses, more than sufficient to fund the city’s capital agenda.
