A new exhibit on nature, outdoor leisure and sustainable practices has opened at the University of Saskatchewan’s Diefenbaker Canada Centre.
‘Hunt. Gather. Fish. Explore.’ was curated by Helanna Gessner, the DCC’s curatorial, collections, and exhibits manager. She says the exhibit aims to teach visitors about the evolution of conservation efforts and contemporary practices to protect the province’s natural history.
The exhibit features artefacts from John Diefenbaker’s collection, objects loaned by community members, and themed photo booths for an interactive aspect.
The selection of artefacts will be available to view until April 30th.
