ColdStar Solutions in Victoria distributes wholesale groceries and produce to stores and supermarkets across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) chief executive officer Heather Ryan says ColdStar has been an important supply chain partner since 2017.

There are warehouse locations in Richmond, Victoria, Comox, and Ladysmith, BC.

ColdStar will begin operating under FCL ownership in just over a week. A purchase price was not disclosed.
