Health Canada is warning the public that re-light candles are banned in this country, so they have been taken off a foreign seller’s seller list on its Etsy.ca website. Health Canada says these candles that re-light are a fire hazard and should be disposed of. A re-light candle reignites itself spontaneously after its extinguished.
The candles were bought from Homestreet Boutique out of the U.K. The advice from Health Canada is to keep safety in mind when shopping online.
