With tariffs on Canada from the United States and more expected to begin April 2nd, Camponi Housing Corporation is reaffirming its commitment to prioritizing Canadian goods and services for its ongoing and future construction projects in Saskatoon. A news release from the Housing Corporation says Camponi recognizes the importance of strengthen local supply chains and will prioritize Canadian-made materials and services, with a preference for Saskatchewan-based and Indigenous-owned suppliers. Camponi Housing Corporation has multiple construction projects underway right now, including a major development at Hart Road in the Blairmore neighbourhood and the just recently announced affordable housing project at 1641 McKercher Drive right by the Cliff Wright Library.
