RCMP have charged three people after multiple post office break ins.
February 18th around 9:05 a.m. Nipawin RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at the post office in Codette. It’s believed that the culprits broke in around 5 a.m. that morning damaging a door and stealing over 20 packages.
Later in the morning on February 18th, Nipawin RCMP received a second report of a break and enter that occurred overnight in the post office in Love. It’s believed that break-in took place sometime between 5:00 p.m. the day before and 6:30 a.m. on the 18th with an unknown number of packages, mail as well as a safe having been stolen.
RCMP have arrested 31-year-old Ashley Dayton from Nipawin and 36-year-old William Fosseneuve from Cumberland House. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 24-year-old Reginald Nawakayas. Reginald Nawakayas is described as approximately 5’11” tall and 250 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Reginald is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
All three are charged with break and enter; steal parcels sent by post; theft over $5000; theft under $5000; and mischief under $5000.
