The province says job growth remains strong and steady according to Statistics Canada. 3,900 jobs were added in the province over last January. Immigration and Career Training Minister Jeremy Harrison says, “Saskatchewan has seen steady job growth for 18 consecutive months.” He says it shows the economy is resilient and benefiting the people with more opportunities despite external headwinds. Jobs were also up from the previous month by 12 hundred. The unemployment rate was six per cent in January.
