According to an economic impact study, Suncrest College contributed $119.8 million to Saskatchewan’s economy in 2023-24.
The study, conducted by Lightcast, found that the college employed 361 full and part time staff, 86 per cent of them living in the local region. Alongside operational spending, this contributed $16.9 million to the local economy.
When it comes to Suncrest alumni, students who remained in the region after graduation generated $93 million in added income, which equates to supporting 812 local jobs.
Students attending the college generated $9 million in additional income that year, as well.
