The young man behind a Saturday evening armed robbery in Saskatoon is still at large.
According to a Saskatoon Police Service news release, officers responded to a liquor store being robbed in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West at about 11 p.m. on April 12. Upon arrival, police were told by store employees that a lone, masked man entered the business brandishing a gun and demanded money from the till. He fled prior to the officers arrival and was believed to have left in a green, two-door vehicle with a red, rear bumper. The suspect is described as being about 5’9″ tall, wearing a puffy, black winter jacket, a black baseball cap with a black face covering. He wore grey sweatpants with white text on the top, left side. He also wore black shoes and carried a black duffel bag. Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the S-P-S or Crime Stoppers.
