Rosthern Fire and Rescue has posted on Facebook that there is currently a fire ban in the RM of Rosthern, but the town remains unaffected.

The ban is a symptom of dry conditions and increased fire risk, and it will be in place until further notice.
Residents in the region are asked to comply with no open burning, no fire pits, burn barrels, or debris fires, and no fireworks.

BBQs and gas appliances are still allowed with extreme caution.
