One man is dead after an altercation with Alberta RCMP. Around five o’clock Tuesday afternoon, two officers responded to a call-for-service in the parking lot of a store in Blairmore, in the Crowsnest Pass. Police say a confrontation resulted in the officers firing shots. The vehicle involved traveled a short distance before entering the ditch. The male driver was later pronounced dead. The officers weren’t injured. The incident is now being investigated by the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team.
