Regina Police have laid charges in connection to the 2018 death of a toddler in that city.

A 9-1-1 call was received just after 9:45 a.m. on March 20th, 2018. The caller told 9-1-1 a three year old girl in the home was unresponsive.

Zoey Hancock was pronounced deceased at hospital at 12:17 p.m. that same day.

Wednesday police arrested 33 year old Ashley Dawn Longworth of Regina and charged her with Manslaughter.

That brings the total number of homicides in 2018 to seven.
