The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 2025 C-F-L continues today with training camp running through tomorrow in Saskatoon at Griffiths Stadium on the University of Saskatchewan campus, with practice beginning at 8:30. The Green and White will play their first pre-season game on Saturday, May 24th at 2 p.m. in Winnipeg before the Blue Bombers visit the Riders on Friday, May 30th at 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. Saskatchewan’s regular-season opener will be on Thursday, June 5th against the Ottawa RedBlacks. Game time is 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

The I-I-H-F World Men’s Hockey Championships have completed the preliminary rounds with all teams advancing to the playoffs having the day off. The tournament runs through Sunday, May 25th in Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark. Sixteen national teams are taking part, split into two groups of eight teams each for preliminary round-robin play, plus playoffs. Canada is one of the 16 nations taking part and are in Group A. Canada finished first in Group A with 6 wins, 0 losses, 1 shootout loss for 19 points. The tournament continues with the quarterfinals tomorrow, as follows…
