The Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 2025 C-F-L season continues today with one more training camp practice today and one final walk-thru tomorrow in Saskatoon at Griffiths Stadium on the University of Saskatchewan campus, with practice today beginning at 8:30. The Green and White will play their first pre-season game on Saturday, May 24th at 2 p.m. in Winnipeg before the Blue Bombers visit the Riders on Friday, May 30th at 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. Saskatchewan’s regular-season opener will be on Thursday, June 5th against the Ottawa RedBlacks. Game time is 7 p.m. at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.

The 2025 Memorial Cup begins tomorrow night in Rimouski, Quebec and runs through Sunday, June 1st, with 4 different C-H-L teams competing. The Medicine Hat Tigers are the W-H-L representatives. Each team will play 3 round-robin games with the top ranked team receiving a bye into the championship team. A tie-breaker game will be played if needed, otherwise the second and third ranked team will play the semi-final. On the schedule for tomorrow…

The I-I-H-F World Men’s Hockey Championships continue today with the tournament running through Sunday, May 25th in Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark. Sixteen national teams are taking part, split into two groups of eight teams each for preliminary round-robin play, plus playoffs. Canada is one of the 16 nations taking part and are in Group A.
