The Saskatoon Police tried to pull over a speeding car on Saturday afternoon around 1 o’clock eastbound on 8th Street at Cumberland Avenue.
Police say the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, lost control and spun out on the front yard of a home in the 17-hundred block of Grosvenor Avenue before colliding with a parked van on Shannon Crescent. But it didn’t stop there.
A spike belt was used to stop the car in traffic at Highway 16 and Boychuk Drive.
An 18 year old man is facing dangerous driving related charges as well as drug related charges. Police say they seized almost 90 grams of marijuana inside the vehicle.
