Deschambault Lake RCMP are asking the public to report sightings of Earl Ballantyne and Tyler Ballantyne.
Last Friday Deschambault Lake RCMP received a report of an assault at a residence in Deschambault Lake. Police say a group of people assaulted and confined the victim, but the victim was later able to escape and was treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday six people were arrested in Deschambault Lake with the assistance of the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Provincial General Investigation Section and Critical Incident Response Team.
Thirty-one-year-old Earl Ballantyne, 19-year-old Tyler Ballantyne, 29-year-old Stephan Sakima Ballantyne, 30-year-old Zachary Ballantyne, 26-year-old Raeanna Michel, 20-year-old Sharona Custer, 20-year-old Sherri Custer, and a female teenager are each charged with assault with weapon, forcible confinement, robbery with violence, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, The female teenager is also charged with one count of assault, Section 266, Criminal Code.
Earl Ballantyne is also charged with possession of a firearm without holding a license, Warrants have been issued for the arrests of Earl Ballantyne and Tyler Ballantyne and Deschambault Lake RCMP are actively working to locate and arrest them.
Earl Ballantyne is described as approximately 5’8″ with a medium build. He has black hair and brown eyes. Tyler Ballantyne sometimes goes by the name “Tyler Michel’. He is described as approximately 6′ and 140 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.
They are known to frequent Deschambault Lake and may travel to Pelican Narrows or Prince Albert, but their current whereabouts are unknown.
