Teams from Manitoba, Ontario and the wild-card squad skipped by Jennifer Jones are already guaranteed a spot in the championship round at the Canadian women’s curling championship in Moose Jaw.
Kerri Einarson’s Manitoba foursome got in through Pool A after trimming Saskatchewan 10-6 Tuesday night. Robyn Silvernagle’s North Battleford quartet is 4-2 and can grab one of the five remaining spots into the second phase of the competition by beating Northern Ontario Wednesday night. Saskatchewan had, earlier Tuesday, downed Quebec 5-3. Alberta, Northern Ontario and Team Canada are all 3-2.
