The University of Saskatchewan is now offering a Certificate in Introductory Agriculture program.
Students in the program can study online or in-person at their own pace to learn about agriculture in the Canadian Prairie Region.
The course is targeted at learners from a variety of backgrounds such as mature students, undergraduate students, educators, and individuals seeking agriculture employment.
The new program, which can be taken alongside a degree or as a standalone program, equips students with knowledge about agrology, professional practice in agriculture, the scientific principles that govern agriculture and the environment, and the socio-economic impacts of agriculture.
