Two recent traffic stops in Onion Lake resulted in numerous arrests and multiple drugs seized.

On the evening of September 6th, RCMP officers stopped a truck with a man and two women inside. RCMP investigated further and seized 25 grams of cocaine and drug trafficking paraphernalia from inside the vehicle. They arrested 33-year-old Gloria Wolfe from Onion Lake, and the man and other woman were later released without charge.

Then on September 13 at 2:40 a.m., officers stopped a van and arrested its occupants; two males and a female. From the vehicles, officers pulled a firearm, 36 grams of cocaine, 55 grams of psilocybin, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Now, 24-year-old Colewyn Montana and 25-year-old Navarro Lane, both from Onion Lake, are facing six charges. They are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on October 6.
