The Saskatoon Police Service has executed arrests from two separate incidents from earlier this year.
According to S-P-S news releases, one of the investigations wrapped up in September with the arrest of a 35-year-old man by the Warrant Enforcement Unit, charged with aggravated assault and breaching court-imposed conditions. The incident occurred back on May 22 in the 100 block of Avenue P North when a male victim was pulled to the ground by an unknown male who bit the victim and struck him several times with a hammer before fleeing the scene. The second arrest was of a 24-year-old man, charged with aggravated assault. Back on August 5, officers responded to the 3000 block of 20th Street West where they found a 49-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
